NATIONAL COUNCIL JEWISH WOMEN
"The National Council of Jewish Women,
Columbus Section decided, for the first time in their history, to have
a "name" person as their speaker for their 2008 Woman of Valor
luncheon which raises dollars for their
domestic violence
projects. It was a step that took some weeks for the Board of
Trustees to agree to because of the outlay of dollars, without knowing
if they would reap the rewards. The outcome of the event was the most
successful one NCJW ever had...and the feeling was that Denise was
definitely a good part of the success. She was passionate,
knowledgeable, social, friendly to the donors, and was willing to do
anything we wanted to enhance this event and our project. The
audience was spellbound by her remarks. We recommend her highly."
THE SPRING OF TAMPA BAY
I just wanted to
thank both of you very much for making our Gift of Peace Breakfast
such a success. It’s hard to believe, but in these hard economic
times, we actually made
more money this year than we did last year. I don’t think we
would have made that money without you.
We were able to get more media coverage for the
event and a much larger turn out. I know we more then covered the
honorarium we paid for Denise to speak. Her speech was heartfelt and
personal. Not only was her speech wonderful, but she gave media
interviews, and then stayed on her feet the rest of the morning,
greeting and talking to every guest that wanted to meet her. She
spoke to each guest on a very personal level and made everyone feel
like a friend. It was also a pleasure working with Kari. Kari
handled every detail, answered our many questions, and was so pleasant
to work with. She was always quick to respond to our calls or
emails….and always happy to help.
Thank you both for making such
a big difference in Tampa Bay!! More women and children will be
sleeping safely at

Tampa Bay thanks to your continued fight against domestic
